Lunch Club

Seventeen years or so ago a lunch club was suggested.  The idea was that a different team should organise a lunch each month, however this did not materialise so.

The ethos was that a good home cooked meal, using fresh ingredients as much as possible, at a reasonable price should be provided and served tastefully.  We try to provide the sort of menu that a person living alone would probably not cook (hence the fame of Janis’s roast potatoes!) and we particularly hoped that those living alone would enjoy eating lunch in the company of others.

We now combine November and December as they are so close and have managed to keep the cost at £3.50 for a two or sometimes three course meal.
If more details are required, Megan would be happy to supply them to anybody interested in joining us.

The Lunch Club meets at 1pm on the last Wednesday of each month, except November when it is combined with a Christmas lunch.
